"After the birth of my daughter in early 2021, I struggled to find a play mat that would suit her nursery but also my neutral living interiors. That's when Little Totties was born. I designed and created the perfect reversible play mat using soft organic cotton that featured a playful colour on one side, and a neutral tone on the other. These were a hit so after selling out I decided I wanted to create something more luxurious and more heirloom quality. This is when I rebranded to LILAC LANE. The idea around the name was subconsciously linked to my Grandma, Angela. Her favourite colour was purple and so many memories I have of her are the ones being walked to school cutting through narrow, bumpy, tree filled lane ways in Prahran, Melbourne where she migrated to from Greece. Also being tucked to sleep in layers of blankets that were pulled out of a big trunk that had a distinct feel and smell that always made us laugh. I've created timeless essentials crafted from the most soft and durable French Linen to give that same heirloom feel, to be passed down generations and create memories with." Our linen is 160gsm and is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified meaning it has been thoroughly tested and proven free of chemicals and toxic substances making it safe against little ones skin.
