We are Michelle and Ryan from the beautiful mountain town of Flagstaff, AZ. We've lived on both coasts, in the Rocky Mountains, and finally settled in Flagstaff two years ago. As avid skiers and occasional snowboarders, we conceived this idea after numerous ski trips. We've visited many ski resorts across California, Utah, Colorado, North Carolina, and now Arizona. Our ski travels inspired us to share these experiences with others through this map we designed. Our vision for these maps was to design something that was chic, yet adventurous - artwork that skiers and non-skiers would be proud to hang in their homes and would complement their home decor. We worked hard to select the top 50 USA Ski Resorts by using a combo of acreage, elevation, runs, snowfall, powdery conditions, and stoke factor. The list is ordered by acreage. While all resorts aren’t represented today, we have plans for expanded, global, and regional maps ahead. We are working with the best vendor to produce our scratch-off ski maps so they are top quality. We selected a 300p glossy paper and premium smooth scratch-off ink foil. Below each scratch-off is a unique, designed image of the ski resort so there is something special waiting.Read their story
