About Taarach

TAARACH® is a Latin American brand inspired by the folklore, passion, and culture of its indigenous people, that seeks to rescue and spread textile traditions and handmade techniques. Winner of Design Excellence Award 2020 on Social Impact. We believe that each product that becomes part of our lives brings more than a look. It reveals who we are, makes us unique, comes with a history, energy, and generates impact. We develop all our pieces with respect, love, and ethics. TAARACH® produces unique products in small quantities. We design our belts out of one of the most timeless elements of the Andean communities' typical costume: the "faja." Ethnics groups use fajas as a decorative or mythical element; to show status, power, or elegance and for medical purposes. All our fajas are handmade in wooden looms by artisans from the Ecuadorian highlands. TAARACH® stands for transparency, ethics, and the well-being of people above anything else. We generate a positive impact on our artisan's community. We pay them fair wages for their crafts and motivate families to preserve traditional techniques. We donate a part of each sale to our program ONE 1 ONE, which provides one lunch to one child in need for one month. TAARACH® ethnic soul gives you a story to tell through your everyday outfit.
