TUQRIS is a jewelry startup founded by a jewelry designer Cristina Tuceacov in 2022. With a background in design and goldsmithing, Cristina creates creative, unique, and handmade pieces using a combination of traditional goldsmithing techniques and modern 3D technologies. She specifically designs with free-spirited, creative individuals who want to make a statement and go beyond traditional jewelry in mind. At Tuqris, we prioritize the intersection between the logical, mathematical side of goldsmithing and its artistic, experiential aspects.We strive to inspire others to be as unique as our jewelry is, as we use both traditional goldsmithing techniques and experimental methods of jewelry making. We love "ugly" stones because it is precisely their imperfection that we admire the most. These stones that don't fit industry standards have character and a fantastic story to tell. Their shapes showcase their long and challenging journey with nature, and we love to transcend that journey into our jewelry pieces. We create our jewelry from precious metals, such as recycled silver and gold. These materials are recyclable and, if properly taken care of, can last for generations. We choose to use recycled silver and gold because we believe in taking care of our planet and maximizing the resources we already have.
