About Qi Formularie

Founded in 2010, Qi Formularie remains the only (or possibly among the very few) skin care brand not just 'inspired by' but based entirely on the medical principles of TCM herbal combination. Qi Formularie evolved from founder Dr. Kirsten's lifelong passion for creating her own skin care products. Now an Eastern Medicine doctor, she began as a child by reading her mother's natural healing books, experimenting with plants, oils and home-made hydrosols in an effort to duplicate her mother's high-end beauty products. By the time she had reached her teens, she had a full personal line-up of formulations which she has used virtually her entire life; incorporating TCM herbal theory as she studied the subject in depth. Rarely do we release new products, as we are confident that what we do now is already our best and highest. Occasionally, as a need arises in clinic or a client inquires, we may work out a new targeted formula; but this is infrequent. We have been unwavering in our insistence on sourcing highest-quality, most efficacious and certified ingredients; as well as ensuring we use nothing that has compromised the well-being of any animal. We use only ingredients essential to the therapeutic balance of each respective formula; and no fillers. The pleasing, natural scents are 100% from their plant-based constituents.
