About The Good Couch

Born from a mission to eliminate furniture waste, we began looking for ways to upcycle raw materials from couches who's only other option was to end up in a landfill. After several years of experimenting, we finally finished a line of upcycled goods made from the salvageable upholstery. Each item is high quality, hand-cut and sewn in the United States. Starting with our couch pickup service, we bring in unusable worn out couches to our warehouse in Lakewood, Colorado, cut the usable material off of each couch, and then send it to our partner in Aurora, Colorado for pattern cutting and sewing. Every piece we sell helps keep one more couch from ending up in a landfill. To date, we have saved over 500 tons of couches and material from ending up in landfills through our resale and upcycling programs. Our mission is to provide satisfaction through circularity. The circular economy is our best option to keep harmful materials from ending up in our oceans and soils while discouraging the production of new materials produced from limited resources.
