About The Crafty Glammie

During the summer of 2020, Ashley became a plant mama. She was looking for plant hangers on Amazon but did not see ones see liked. She brought it up on conversation, to her mama. Ashley’s mama told her she can make them. Ashley bought the material, Cindy made a hanger and The Crafty Glammie was born. Ashley, a technical recruiter for over 10 years was furloughed due to Covid. She had always wanted to own her own business but conflicted on what and how. She is driven and tech savy, her experience has led her to the business end of the The Crafty Glammie, growing the brand in all aspects. Cindy, a salon owner has always been creative. Rather it be from sketching on a pad or beautifying her clients, Cindy is a perfectionist. She learned to macrame as a child, a craft that was dormant for over 40 years. When Ashley mentioned to her about a plant hanger, she knew deep inside that she can make them again. After finding one in her parents garage still intact, and with the materials in hand. She made a hanger; perfect and unique. The handmade macrame plant hanger was much more than Ashley asked for. Ashley and Cindy, realized this can become something more than a hobby.
