SDN is a Black-owned, Brooklyn-based clothing company focusing on sustainability, forward design and a commitment to progressive causes. We use organic/sustainable textiles as well as local/fair labor. What started as an art project, in 2008, making one-of-a-kind repurposed T-shirts eventually evolved into a full line of Menswear and Womenswear selling throughout the US. Maintaining the principles of sustainability and local production, SDN continues to cater to its local, hip New York audience as well as new fans worldwide. Designer, Marcus Hicks has also worked as a set/celebrity tailor in NYC. He has worked with Beyonce, Destiny’s Child, Alicia Keys, Jon Bon Jovi, Anthony Anderson, as well as many other celebrities, major fashion shows and catalogues internationally.
