About embé®

The swaddle was invented by Jennifer Wynh, a mother of four, who from personal experience fully understood the need to evolve the centuries-old, cumbersome, simple cloth swaddle. She graduated with a degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine. Finding a lack of versatile swaddles that tailored to a baby’s sleep needs, she used her strong design sense and engineering background and birth the concept for the embé® 2-way swaddle™. On May 1, 2018, the three year anniversary of embé®, Jennifer drew out the first concepts of the Binnie™ Retractable Pacifier in her notepad and it was brought to the market in May of 2022, nearly four years later.
