About Brooke Brazil

Brooke Brazil is a West Coast-based illustrator and full-time muralist originally from Kauai. With over 15 years of experience, she specializes in bold color and pattern, drawing from local flora, fauna, and site history. Her work blends Art Deco, 90s surf culture, and textile design knowledge gained at Parsons School of Design. Inspired by her travels and multiple “homes,” Brooke’s murals are rich in symbolism and always evolving. When not painting, she’s outdoors with her dog Mia—paddle boarding, hiking, and exploring.Read their story
