About Flourish Candle Co.

Ruth is a wife and mother of 3 little girls. They live in an RV full time. They live in the piedmont of North Carolina and spend about half their weekends in the mountains or on the coast. Ruth used to browse the candle aisle of stores wishing to buy all of them. After learning that conventional candles are made of petroleum, lead and toxic fragrance oils, she quit burning candles for a couple years. Eventually cleaner ones started showing up in stores. She started buying ones that sounded promising for clean ingredients but some of them still gave her headaches so she knew they still weren’t clean enough. Flourish Candle Co was created to make candles that are clean, smell amazing and burn beautifully. Something as ambient and comforting as a candle should never be harmful.Read their story
