About Debra Fabian JEWELRY DESIGN

Debra's career began as an apparel designer in NYC. She has Bachelor of Science in Design with a major in Fine Arts from the Design College (DAAP) of the University of Cincinnati. Although her background was in fashion, her true passion is jewelry, having taken silversmithing, casting and enameling. During her apparel career in NYC she started her jewelry business selling to boutiques on the side. Relocating to DC/NVA area she continued her business of DFD. Her jewelry style is feminine with a "mod-vin, classic with a twist" fusion. As a jewelry artist she unites fine art with fashion creating pieces that are sophisticated, elegant and made by the designer herself. She use pearls alone or with her favorite stones, labradorite, tourmaline and black onyx with semi precious metals of sterling and fine silver, 14k gold filled and vermeil.
