About Piccolo Shoes

The idea of Piccolo Shoes first started more than five years ago during my own personal quest in finding genuine leather, high quality dress shoes for my son. After endless searches and completely unsatisfied with the local offerings, I moved my search online. By this time, my daughter had been born and I was in search of both a female and male shoe that my son could wear and I could hand down to my daughter. Needless to say, I never really found what I was truly looking for. After visiting family in Mexico and being introduced to the shoemaking traditions of Guanajuato, Mexico (and having bought many pairs of shoes for my children), the idea of designing a shoe and sourcing the help of local shoe makers was simple. Piccolo Shoes was born from the idea of creating a long lasting, classic, beautiful looking, and comfortable fitting shoe that can be used by little boys and girls in all the adventures that they may take. It is with great honor that we are able to showcase a beautiful shoe line made in a country where we have familial lineage and where pride of craftsmanship shines throughout.
