About Midnight Oil Studio & Workshop

Midnight Oil Studio & Workshop is a collaborative effort between Allison & Jonathan Metzger. They create traditional, hand-crafted silkscreen images on recycled paper. They focus on exploring the visual rhythms of nature and get their inspiration from the diverse landscapes of the United States. Our pieces are created to celebrate the interdependence of humanity and the natural world through colorful and playful images. They first met in graduate school working on their Master of Fine Arts degrees in Printmaking and Textile Design at University of Kansas. The rest is history. Read their story
