SUSTAINABLE | MINIMALIST | HANDMADE The concept of the MIMIKRI brand is turning old leather garments into high quality, one-of-a-kind designer bags and accessories. All of the bags are made out of recycled material: industrial cutting waste, vintage leather coats, pants or skirts. Each piece is handmade and unique, rejuvenated with special techniques like heat press, laser cut and hand paint –giving every item a new chance. At the same time I beleive it’s impotrant to emphasize and demonstrate the history of each material to facilitate an emotional bonding between product and customer. So each of the bags includes a label with a small photo illustrates the "before" status.
