The Wade’s welcomed Libby in 2023 to be a companion goat for their family’s pet goat, Bay. After weeks of searching, and traveling over an hour to pick her up, they found themselves at a gas station waiting to bring her home. While putting her into the back of their SUV, the previous owner mentioned that Libby was still producing milk. Andrea’s son’s eyes lit up at the thought of having a milking goat thus starting a new adventure for their family. Andrea’s family started by dabbling in goats’ milk cheese but moved to soap after a request from her oldest child. After the first batch was made, the love of homemade all-natural soap began. Amy heard about the first soap trial and asked to join her friend for the next batch. By the time she left they had already started planning their next batch of soap. Amy’s passion for all natural, pure ingredients in products she wants in her home, mixed with Andrea’s love of animals and creating something new, blossomed into a business partnership. Within a few weeks Love, Libby Soaps was born.
