About Amanda Laurel Atkins Art + Illustration
I began my career in illustration after graduating from the lesley college of art and design in 2008. I quickly found that my passion lived in creating the images in my mind rather than a traditional career in illustration. Vintage-inspired women, animals, nature, literature, and mid-century-modern design inspire me constantly and play in my imagination. These things are the primary inspiration behind my line of prints. I began selling my work on etsy in 2007. Since then, I’ve had 6 solo shows of my paintings and my work has appeared on book, magazine, anthology, and album covers. I began a small journey into wholesale last year and am looking forward to reaching more independent and unique stores around the country through faire.
