About Leftover Hippies Incense

Leftover Hippies Incense was created from a love of incense, but a dislike of synthetic fragrances. On my search for a clean and truly natural incense for myself, I was unable to find anything that was transparent in ingredients and process enough for me to feel comfortable. So instead, I started to research the ancient, traditional methods of making incense. Over years of experimentation, beginning with this basic knowledge, I created a line of incense that is made of only ground-up plant materials. It contains 3 components: -Herbs or barks that are the scent - NOT oils. The actual ingredients, dried and put through a grinder - (ie Sage, Rosemary, Palo Santo wood); -Makko (an inner bark that works like charcoal to keep everything burning); -Acacia gum mixed with water to bind everything together.Read their story
