Hi, I'm Arjo – the hand behind the illustrations and the heart behind the brand. Art by Arjo began with a simple idea: to capture the places, passions, and memories that matter most through beautifully detailed hand-drawn artwork. What started as personal gifts for family and friends soon sparked something much bigger. I realised how powerful it was to turn someone’s story into something they could hang on their wall – a sketch that means more than just lines on paper. With a background in architecture and a lifelong love for drawing, I began creating architectural illustrations that blend precision with personal meaning – whether it’s the stadium you grew up going to with your dad, a memory from a favourite place you travelled too, or a university building that shaped your journey. In 2018, I made the leap from architect to full-time artist and launched Art by Arjo. Since then, what started at market stalls and local pop-ups has grown into a premium online brand with customers in over 30 countries and partnerships with retailers across the UK. Each piece I create is rooted in memory, designed to be a lasting reminder of the places that shape who we are.
