GUNAS is a New York City based luxury vegan fashion brand founded in 2009 by designer and animal lover Sugandh G. Agrawal. From the very beginning, GUNAS has been committed to being 100% vegan, cruelty-free, and sweatshop-free, showing the world it’s possible to be an ethical consumer without sacrificing style in the process. Common materials used in GUNAS products include coated canvas, linings made from recycled plastic bottles, recycled metals for hardware, and MulbTex, a material which is made from mulberry leaves and has been for centuries in Korea. Each purchase allows GUNAS to give back to animal oriented nonprofits such as Woodstock Farm Sanctuary, The Humane League, Gentle Barn, and PETA just to name a few.
