Rachel and Dr. C met when when Rachel saw her as a patient and they were both pregnant. Over the course of the next few months, they began discussion of creating a nail polish that was fortified with essential oils and also had less toxic ingredients. They wanted a high quality product they could feel safer using and recommending to their clients and patients. Over the past decade, Rachel has worked in various roles in the beauty industry. Her love of beauty led her to open her own high end nail salon in San Francisco. She developed this franchise into several locations, both locally as well as internationally. She now serves as a consultant for multiple beauty businesses, providing her expertise to nail salons and spa owners. Dr. C is a double board certified podiatrist who saw the need for a healthier nail polish from her experience with thousands of patients. She understood how the nail is can absorb chemicals and wanted to create a better alternative.
