La Suzy was born from lived experience — the messy, often untold side of periods. Our founder, Pam, grew up in South Africa, where period poverty and shame were part of everyday life. Like many girls, she used rags, slept on towels, and lived with the fear of leaks. Years later, after moving to the UK and facing heavy periods and endometriosis, the same fears returned — especially at night. La Suzy’s reusable period mat is the product Pam wished she’d had growing up — and the one she’s now proud to give her daughter. Soft, waterproof, beautiful, and washable, it’s designed to offer peace of mind during menstruation, postpartum recovery, or night-time leaks. We believe dignity shouldn’t be disposable.
