About Leafy Lexicon

A botanical enthusiast, I created the Leafy Lexicon to express my love of plants and their beauty, history, and health benefits. My watercolor illustrations begin in the old-fashioned way, with ink on paper, and when completed are scanned into digital form to create cards and posters. I live in Oregon's beautiful Willamette Valley countryside, surrounded by an expansive and exuberant garden full of leafy greens, useful weeds, and abundant blooms...in addition to a delightful husband, four Bengal cats, a flock of chickens, and three heritage sheep.
