various originally comes from the beautiful district of St. Pauli in Hamburg, where it was first conceived rather by chance by its founders Lisa and Pat during a vacation a few years ago. Since the two couldn't find a nice open wardrobe in industrial design for their own bedroom, they simply built it themselves. From this wardrobe came further designs, clothes rails, and wardrobes for friends, and eventually the online shop behind it. The label was then established in 2015. various is a shop and design studio for industrial furniture made of steel. After several successful years in the company, the founders have now dedicated themselves to other projects and have entrusted various to Norman. Norman and his team have been continuing Lisa's and Pat's successful work since the end of 2022 on the outskirts of Berlin. Of course, we are committed to continuously improving the usual quality. We continue to manufacture all products with a small team in loving handcraft. Enjoyment of the work, good collaboration, and resource-saving use of materials are important to us. Many thanks to Pat and Lisa for their energetic support during the transition period and for continuing to stand by us in an advisory capacity.
