Ash & Fig was born from a simple realization: healthy plants don’t come from chemicals - they come from living soil. Developed by a horticulturist, Ash & Fig began as a response to conventional fertilizers that burn roots, disrupt soil biology, and deliver short-term results at long-term cost. In nature, plants thrive through a complete and balanced cycle supported by microorganisms, fungi, beneficial bacteria, and carbon-rich organic matter working together beneath the surface. We set out to recreate that system. After more than two years of research, testing, and refinement, Ash & Fig was formulated as a fully rounded, soil-first solution. Our blends are rich in beneficial microorganisms, fungi, and bacteria that activate soil life, improve nutrient uptake, and strengthen root systems naturally. Carbon plays a central role, helping retain moisture, build soil structure, and support long-term plant resilience.
