We started Leche as a way to share the amazing wonders and benefits of wearing amber jewelry. Amber is a gift from Mother Nature, and to which we are constantly amazed by its beauty and bounty. It soothes the spirit even as it boosts the immune system and provides relief from aches and pains. This is the fancy/hippy way of saying - we started Leche after the birth of our son, who began teething and was in constant pain. With amber jewelry, his teething pain was alleviated and he was able to sleep. Good for him, great for us, his parents. We had so much success with his wearing amber, that we tried it ourselves, and the results were amazing. We slept better, felt more in control during stressful times, and had the energy for whatever the day brought. This is as true today as it was in the early days of parenting. We love amber and are thrilled to be able to provide unique, natural and beautiful heirloom jewelry that also brings about health and well-being to those who wear it (and to those near those who wear it).
