Since 1923, the Italian history of honey. The story of Ambrosoli is linked to that of its founder, Giovanni Battista Ambrosoli, who in the early 1900s, in Ronago in the province of Como, developed a genuine passion for beekeeping. "I became a beekeeper because I was a passionate consumer of honey." Officially, the company G.B. Ambrosoli was established with its registration at the Chamber of Commerce of Como in 1923. In a few years, the company managed to develop modern beekeeping and began packaging honey in jars, with particular attention to the quality of the raw material. In 1930, innovation and research led to the creation of two new and revolutionary products: honey-filled candies and "Cera Ambra," beeswax for floors and furniture. A family tradition that continues to this day. In the 1930s, we witnessed an initial boom in demand for honey-based products. To meet the ever-growing demand, we began selecting the best honey producers abroad as well. Our honey today is made as it once was, then packaged with modern techniques. The goal is the same as a century ago: constant and meticulous work in favor of quality, research and experimentation with new beekeeping techniques, and the dissemination of the culture and tradition of the territories that the company represents.
