About Wax and Wane Candles

Founded in 2015 by in New York City by Hannah Turner, Wax & Wane candles originally was a way for Hannah to pay homage to her beloved home of the Pacific Northwest during a particularly harsh winter. Although we've moved back to Oregon, all of our scents are still carefully curated and inspired by the great outdoors. We find inspiration in natural beauty- long hikes in the woods, the smell of the first snow of winter, the breeze at a rugged coast. Many of our scents are inspired by our travels, experiences, and memories. With a passion for creating eco-conscious and premium scented candles, Wax & Wane can be found at independent boutiques and shops throughout the world. Every candle is hand-poured and mixed in small batches of just eight to ensure quality and attention to detail. Our scents are carefully curated and always phthalate-free. We believe in using healthy and environmentally friendly ingredients. All of our candles are vegan and fragrances are never tested on animals.Read their story
