About Claire Lune

Since its inception as a functional ceramics brand in 2018, Claire Lune has evolved into a broader artistic project in which Chiara Della Santina, founder and artist, shares works of artistic ceramics and paintings while promoting, at the same time, a slower and more intentional approach to everyday life. Claire Lune's creations can be interpreted as opportunities to remind us to slow down and to regain possession of a dimension of sacredness and ritual in everyday life, as well as being an invitation to interact creatively with the world that surrounds us. The creative process behind each work is fluid and intuitive. Claire Lune style and design combine tradition with modernity, abstractionism and minimalism and challenge traditional definitions of beauty and functionality. All ClaireLune ceramics are made individually by hand (using hand construction techniques, plates and pinching) or turned individually.
