About The Printed Word Store

I’m Sarah, the designer behind The Printed Word Store. I live in a small village in the Somerset countryside with my husband, four children and three dogs, and many of the ideas for my prints come from everyday life — busy kitchens, family routines and the small, familiar moments that tend to stick. All prints are designed and produced by me in my home studio overlooking the Mendip Hills. My work is led by a love of wordplay, gentle puns and well-worn sayings, often with a subtle twist. The aim is always something thoughtful and quietly amusing rather than bold or novelty-led. Each piece is designed and printed in-house, allowing me to keep the quality and presentation consistent and to offer a genuinely personal, artisan service to the shops I work with.Read their story
