Alissa Maya is a folk herbalist and plant medicine creator based in Northern California. She started creating her own organic skin care products while still in high school and always had a love for nature and the plant kingdom. Her passion to learn about everything there is to know about medicinal plants and all of their amazing healing properties and from there to create thoughtfully crafted skin and body care products. Akasha Moon Therapies was created because of the need for safe body care products for women. Alissa belives that the skin being the largest organ on the body that it should be treated with upmost respect and care. Using only the highest quality products directly from the earth. Alissa also believes in giving back to the planet. Her company hosts and sponsors healing events to raise money for charities Akasha Moon Therapies also participates in One Tree Planted program and 1$ from every product sold is donated to plant a tree.
