About David B. Kelly

I am an architect who, after retirement, continues to draw in pen and ink and uses reproductions of my work as the basis for products. With professionally silk-screened, lead-free decalcomania, I decorate ceramic items that are made by companies in my community of East Liverpool, Ohio and other USA based sources.(Interesting asides, East Liverpool's "American Mug & Stein Co." was featured in an article in the NY Times when becoming a supplier to Starbucks in their campaign to promote American producers and Ohio's Seneca Tile still fires in beehive kilns.) My products are fired at 1400 F and are food and dishwasher safe. I also create limited edition collages by manipulating prints of my original work and combining these with Japanese Washi papers.
