Ludò was born in 2019 in Piedmont, the idea of an entrepreneur in the textile sector who, out of passion, deepens the great problem of pollution and social exploitation related to the fashion industry. By involving experts, the brand was founded on two very clear objectives: not to create further unsold in this sector and focus on the contemporaneity of the product. To realize this idea, the path has been designed backwards: faithful to the principle of circular economy, Ludò moves by creating all the collections according to upcycling, the creative recovery that works on the unused sizes found in the warehouses of excellent Italian fabrics. These tens and tens of meters in stock of fine fabrics are called deadstock: after choosing the ones that best match design, the brand offers limited edition capsules, creating an exclusive brand and which is renewed according to the fabrics available. Inspired by the Seventies design, the collections are delicious, while maintaining a classic and timeless pattern. With this production choice, Ludò wants to clearly communicate its take on position, defend and share Italian tradition and talent, to propose garments that last over time, always contemporary, handed down from generation to generation.
