Areia is a brand of lighting products specialized in glass, like, chandeliers, pendats, table lamps, floor lamps, and some decorative products We are a small family company founded in 80's, for our parents. They began to finish glass pieces for chandeliers, and sell it, to other lamp producers. Areia was born in 2015, becuase, after working for several years with lighting from other brands, something was always missing, so we decided to invest in our own brand and follow what was always in our genes. The name Areia came about, because it is made of silica, a fundamental component for the manufacture of glass, as well as we are near a beach area, and Leiria pine forest. For this reason, our city has a history, of hand made, and blown glass, since the 18th century.
