Let's meet Henca de Vilder! The face and creative spirit behind Hevi Handmade. Looking for a new challenge, she started her entrepreneurial adventure in 2005. Strange smells and colors, unique items, beautiful fabrics and then suddenly a special encounter with a local.. Wandering around the local markets in different countries, I went in search of the unknown. An abundance of inspiration. Beautiful handmade art that I wanted to take all of them to the Netherlands to introduce people here to these beautiful items as well. And there was Hevi Bazaar. What started as a hobby resulted in a full-time business. From Hevi Bazaar to Hevi Handmade “Nevertheless, purchasing ready-made was soon no longer satisfying and, in addition, it was no longer sufficient for my target groups. I noticed that there were few stylish and honestly produced jewelry offered at an affordable price in the Netherlands.” The lack of this combination prompted Henca to take a different path. Beautiful jewelry should not be at the expense of people and the environment. The focus was therefore entirely on beautiful and honest jewelry & fashion accessories. That was when Hevi Bazaar turned into Hevi Handmade.
