A Glowing Trend Handcrafted Candles is a husband and wife, veteran owned company (Go Navy!) founded in 2011 in Phoenix, Arizona by Chris and Carolyn Griffin. Our mission is to provide candles that improve people's lives by enhancing their environments and creating the type of atmosphere that they need at any moment. We want them to look good, smell good, and perform well so that you get the best candle experience possible. We frequently bought candles to make our house feel more like a home but were often frustrated with how quickly the fragrances went away with plenty of the candle still there to burn. Many of those candles never burned fully, either. They melted straight down the middle and left a lot of wax all around the sides of the container. We decided that we would learn how to make better candles than we could buy at a store. After a few years of trial and error, we came up with a winning formula that we still use today: 100% verified United States sourced soy wax, premium fragrances, eye-popping colors, and a lot of hard work. Soy wax is an all-natural and renewable vegetable wax, unlike paraffin, which is a byproduct of the petroleum industry and not renewable. All of our candles are hand-mixed and hand-poured in small batches to ensure that the colors and our strong fragrances are consistent from the first lighting to the last.
