Along with seeking the guidance of a naturopathic doctor to address any internal issues and eventually becoming one myself; I realized that in general, my skin, is also quite sensitive to what I put on it. So I dug into the research and I started making my own skin care products such cream, serum, shampoo, body scrub, toner and soap in my late teens and early twenties and it was really shocking to me how well my skin responded to the products I made. I thought to myself, ‘could I be reacting to preservatives and other synthetic ingredients in these regular drug store products?’ And indeed I was … With my career as a naturopathic doctor a priority, developing my own skin care line took a back seat, but I knew it was always a matter of when, not if – and finally the time has come.
