GREEN BOOTS is a brand created in 2012 based on the rich 90-year heritage of Mr. Adelino Rafael Serralheiro and his legacy in the Portuguese footwear industry. Starting from the original boots manufactured for 58 years, the know-how, the tradition, the quality, the materials, the hands and the dedication with which each pair of Green Boots comes to life are the same. We reinvented the JSR boot, modernized and full of personality, proud of its past and present and enthusiastic about the future. Our boots are made by the traditional process, in the original factory, with the machines of the time, with the wise hands of long-time craftsmen. The work is completely manual and carried out with all the care and tradition. Our boots take about 4 hours to make, just like in the 50s, without haste and with the same spirit and dedication that shaped the character of this product, of this people and of our land. The choice of raw materials, the concept and the manufacturing process (Goodwear Welt), everything was designed to withstand the harsh life of the time, with superior durability.Read their story
