Before 2020, PerseveranX founder, Jack Sun, was a successful entrepreneur within the advanced material industry. After the global pandemic ripped the world and the economy to shreds, he found himself with no choice but to liquidate his business and close his entire operations. Weighed down by the pressure and disappointment he felt, as well as the relentless impact of the Covid crisis, he took to walking the streets at night in order to clear his head and regain his perspective. As others withdrew and stayed inside to avoid the virus, he walked in the brisk night air and attempted to adjust to his new reality. These walks became crucial to not only his physical health but his mental health. However, it wasn’t long before his walking and running began to take a toll on his feet. Impacted by relentless foot pain, he switched shoes, invested in insoles, and attempted home remedies to lessen his pain – but nothing worked. From there, PerseveranX was born.
