Alkemie Jewelry is born from our shared life as partners, parents, and designers. Before Alkemie, Dara’s namesake line was carried by Barneys New York, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, and top boutiques in the U.S. and Japan, while Ashley’s early collection embodied a raw rock-and-roll spirit with hand-cast designs and leather elements. When our worlds intertwined, so did our inspirations…nature, spirit, music, ancient symbols, travel, and the magic held in forgotten objects. Each piece begins with something real: a feather, leaf, or vintage artifact, transformed through a lost-wax process that preserves its essence and texture. We work in a reclaimed blend of copper and zinc with zero nickel, zero lead, and no plating, finished by hand with a patina that deepens over time. Rooted in Topanga Canyon, our designs honor Mother Nature as muse, merging organic forms with vintage aesthetics and a soulful, rebellious edge. Guided by sustainability and the belief that nothing sacred should be wasted, we use reclaimed materials and local, ethical craftsmanship. Our handmade shoppe, built from repurposed materials, is a quiet extension of this ethos—where our work lives in its truest form, surrounded by nature.
