Den Gyldne Bønne as is a family business and we are proud to offer freshly baked specialties from around the world. We target companies first and foremost, but via retailers and online stores we also deliver coffee to private individuals across the country. On April 1, 1996, the coffee bar "Den Gyldne Bønne" opened its doors for the first time at Grünerløkka in Oslo. For almost six years, coffee and tea were served and sold to both locals and tourists, and at most 15,000 cups of coffee went over the counter every month. Unfortunately, it was not possible to extend the lease and in 2001 we were forced to close the doors for the last time and think again. With a bright red Petroncini 7.5 kilo coffee burner from Italy and a pallet of green coffee, we started burning coffee and espresso for coffee bars and restaurants. After a short time, both the machine and the premises became too small and today we live in large, bright premises on Vøyenenga in Bærum. We are five employees, have two burners and a fully automatic packaging machine. We deliver to individuals, companies and restaurants across the country. We import all raw coffee ourselves and offer both light and dark types, single estates and blends. Good coffee is not a luxury, it goes without saying!Read their story
