Megan Crook is a self-taught textile guru. She has been expanding her craft for the last 20 years. During this time, Megan has developed a cult following for her unique and eye-catching designs. From hand to machine knits and pattern cutting to tailoring, Megan inherently combines a multitude of techniques and is forever seeking more knowledge and experience. In 2018 Megan Crook Textiles was born, this brand focuses on machine embroidery and embellishment to create unique and individual surface patterns using mixed materials and novelty knitting yarns. The outcome is an inspiring array of colour and texture showcased across a range of accessories, interiors and bespoke garments all created by hand in her new studio in the heart of Nottingham. A lot goes into making every item. From sourcing, pattern drafting, grading, sampling, cutting, manufacturing, finishing, and photography. All of this is done in our Nottingham studio.
