About Kaulana Mahina

Kaulana Mahina started in Puna, Hawaiʻi in 2020 by Haunani Miyasato a kumu and mom of 4 keiki who attended Hawaiian immersion school. She began creating teaching resources from a Hawaiian perspective after seeing a need for it. Today they continue to provide teaching tools for kumus (teachers) and ʻohana ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi (Hawaiian language families) like moon calendars, maps and keiki books.Read their story
