ABOUT MALO KAI My name is Elizabeth and I am the artist behind the designs. I was born and raised in the West Maui Mountains and have been creating art for as long as I can remember and still have a few childhood drawings to prove it. Surrounded by morning rain, countless streams, ocean views, and tropical plants - the environment of my upbringing is the foundation for my art and designs. Through Malo Kai, I hope to share with the world the subtle and beautiful patterns of nature on high-quality, ethically-sourced, and sustainable swimwear, pareos, and more.
