Moon Compass Studio was founded by artist Amy Kelly in 2017. Amy is primarily a painter whose love for sculpture, the foundry process and anything that sparkles have come together in her jewelry work. She grew up in Texas and moved to Massachusetts in 2001 to attend Boston University, and later earned her BFA in painting from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. After 15 years of city living she fell in love with Cape Cod, where she now happily lives and works. She finds limitless inspiration in the natural beauty of the cape, from protected woodlands to the seashores. Her art reflects these passions and seeks to serve as a special reminder to appreciate the natural wonders that surround us.
