Whether whiskey, rum, cognac or wine — oak barrels have been used for centuries to refine the best wines. Only oak gives the raw distillate its complex aromas and mildness. And here in the North German lowlands, oak trees shape the landscape like no other tree. It was an oak tree itself that inspired the three boys from Sittensen. An OKEN is made from genuine handwork! It is produced here on site in northern Germany. Michael, Niklas and Leonard carry out all work steps themselves and thus guarantee high quality. In this way, all ingredients are personally checked and processed, the mash is prepared ourselves and finally each bottle is filled by hand. An OKEN is pure nature! As a fine brandy, it is made exclusively from natural ingredients. For the sake of the environment, all components of the bottle and its packaging are recyclable and — where possible — biodegradable.
