At Ecoginko, it all starts with Lydiane: A former florist, I have always been passionate about nature and decoration. I also think that there is an urgent need to act for the future of our planet. And that it's not too late to change our habits. After some research on “zero waste alternatives”, I discovered that there is a real mess with an everyday object: THE DISPOSABLE PAPER TOWEL, A SINGLE USE. What a waste... natural resources destroyed en masse for only a few seconds of use! I then start looking for a substitute product, washable and reusable but zero waste, thus limiting its environmental impact. I find out from our Finnish and Swedish friends the solution: an “all-in-one” paper towel that can replace disposable paper towels, sponges, cotton pads and wipes. It was then that I embarked on the adventure to introduce these new ecological, economical, decorative, biodegradable and compostable paper towels. Read their story
