About Alpenshade

Alpenshade was founded by Dr. Jenna Peart, a board-certified dermatologist and outdoor adventurer based in Colorado. After summiting all of the state’s 14,000-foot peaks and treating countless cases of sun damage in her clinic, she saw a critical gap in the market: there were virtually no stylish, full-coverage, UPF 50+ clothing options for babies and young children. Motivated by her experience as both a physician and a new mom, Jenna launched Alpenshade to create premium sun-protective apparel for the youngest explorers. Our products combine UPF50+ protection with mountain-tested comfort and style — because sun safety should never mean compromising on quality or design.
