I'm Kara, Owner & Designer behind KaraMarie Jewelry. I live in Wisconsin, with my amazing husband Mark, and our two beautiful kiddos, Griffin and Ruby! I absolutely LOVE fashion, shoes, traveling, and anything and EVERYTHING sparkly! Since I was a child, creativity lurked around every corner, whether it was sewing, coloring, sculpting, or my favorite – making jewelry! My favorite memory, and where it all began, was when I was in grade school, my Dad used to take me to this really cute Bead Store in downtown Milwaukee - Betty's Bead Bank - on the weekends, and we would hunt for unique stones, beads, crystals, and we would make jewelry together. Basically the rest is history, but I am self taught, and have played around in many different materials and techniques - resin, wire wrapping, stitching, and so much more! My desire, fueled by intense passion and unbridled creativity has turned into a reality and here we are! I founded KaraMarie in 2010, offering handmade jewelry, crystallized gifts + shoes, and more all made with the highest quality crystals - as I am an approved designer with access to the best Austrian Crystals!! The jewelry I make represents me as an artist. I take pride in it being eye-catching, unique, bold, and fun. I am inspired by color and the beauty of crystals and how brilliant they reflect light.
