About Shibue Couture

Shibue started with bad panty lines, an ingenious solution, and incredible persistence. When designer and creator, Jenny Buettner encountered a problem when she was a bridesmaid at her sister's wedding and could not find an undergarment that wouldn't show lines under her dress. Not wanting to go without panties, or wear a tight-fitting girdle that left strange bulges, she cut off the sides of her panties and taped them on.The tape didn’t work so well that first night, but she knew she could perfect her panty concept, so she filed for a patent and began the design process. After hearing "NO" over and over again by big manufacturer's she ventured into the unknown and became her own manufacturer. She knew they weren't thinking outside of the box and she was tired of being told that what she wanted to do, could NOT be done. Undeterred, she found a way. Now Shibue has full line of fashion essentials have become synonymous with fashion, the entertainment industry, and everyday women around the world.
